Cinnamon Almonds
One of my all time favorite things to get while shopping with my husband at anyone of his outdoor sporting goods stores is Cinnamon Almonds. Or any cinnamon and sugar coated nuts. You know the kinds I’m talking about right? The ones they make right there in the store? Almonds, walnuts, pecans! Take your pick, they are all delicious.
Honestly thought, they are expensive! I feel so spoiled when I buy them, and so stingy too! I know I’m the mom and I’m supposed to set the example, but why do I have to share! Just kidding, I don’t mind usually. It gives me the excuse of buying two different kinds.
A few years ago my mom discovered how to make these cinnamon almonds and since then I rarely buy them. They are so easy and seriously take five minutes or less to make. I decided to make a video of the process just to show you how easy it really is.
I hope you enjoy this recipe and that it brightens your day. Let me know if you give it a try and what you think. Have a blessed day!

- In a skillet over medium heat add water, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla to pan. Stir to combine. Once the sugar is dissolved add the nuts and stir. Keep stirring for a few minutes until the liquid dissolves and the coating starts to form on the nuts. They are done when they start to look dry. Pour onto a plate to let cool.
